Not everyone is meant to be a cat owner. Not everyone will be blessed in such a manner by the cat gods. But the ones of us who do get blessed… we know how lucky we are. It's simple. Cats choose their humans, not the other way around. You may think that you're choosing when you go to a shelter, but you are not. Your cat fate has been stitched into the fabric of the universe long ago. If you get chosen by a cat, then you get chosen. And if you don't, then you don't.
Some of us fight our entire lives to be chosen by the Cat Distribution System. We wait and wait for our meowment, and we are thankful when it comes. And some of us, like the man in this thread, has been blessed without fully realizing the impurrtance of it. Not yet at least. He will learn how lucky he is to have been chosen by this kitten. Lucky for us, we get to watch this adorably friendship as it blossoms.

It's amazing how the cat distribution system always gets it right. Someone who has no idea what to do, in the middle of the night, one of the feistiest kittens that we have ever seen… and it got adopted. Because of course it did.

This kitten clearly knew this man was her home from the very first moment, and she was willing to fight for it. He was chosen so hard that she was climbing him from the first moment and sitting on his chest from the second. This is love. And we want all of the updates.
