Lace/Arséne (OPEN FOR COMMS) @Lacewing_Arsene ... I was in the vet field for over 6.5 years... Declaws always hurt me. I have a cat with really severe environmental allergies, the way all our vets have described it is like cat eczema. She scratches herself until she's raw and gets constant infections. Meds only mildly help control it and she flings off her claw caps with how hard she scratches. Our most recent vet said she doesn't typically condone getting cats declawed but my cats case is so severe that she sugg

Dante @ hubbin material @actualarishok There's only one case of declawing I have ever been ok with. My childhood cat had SEVERE deformities due to toxin exposure in utero; she was max 5lbs and could not jump. She had a lot of issues including malformed toes. She was declawed and it actually upped her quality of life. 7:01 PM - Aug 6, 2024 · 5,766 Views
