'I'm 36 and this is my first cat': Dog Lover Stunned When A Tree Falls Onto Her Property and Finds a Smol Orange Surprise, Immediately Falls In Love With the Kitten

Well, well, well, the cat distribution system strikes again. It really is starting to diversify its delivery methods - we thought that delivering kittens to you in a nearby sewer was a new level for the CDS, but delivery by falling tree is really just extra credit at this point. Let's back up and start from the beginning. A devoted dog lover had a tree fall through her fence and onto her property a few weeks ago, but she found a tiny, orange surprise inside the wreckage.

Now, the kitten claims that he didn't make the tree fall, but he is orange, so you can never be too sure. Those clementine cuties do have a tendency for causing chaos. Anyway, this dog mom immediately fell in love with the cute kitten, and happily took him in to her fuzzy family. It's never too late to own your first cat, but beware, once you start, it's nearly impawssible to stop!

    Doggo big brothers are the best. They're playful, derpy, and purrfect for cuddling with. Looks like this orange boy has a great life ahead of him. Making that tree fall was the best thing he ever did!

    I thought I'd update y'all since you were all so kind and loving towards Timber and his new family. He's doing exceptionally well! He's a cuddle bug, loves to play with his toys (and our hands/feet/arms/my partner's beard/the dogs' tails) and is growing so fast! He had his 8 week check up recently and the vet said he's a very healthy boy.

    Learn form my early mistakes with my first cat- when your kitty starts to get rough, give kitty and toy and encourage rough play with that, instead. It also works surprisingly well to make little "ow" noises when the meow is rough. They can learn boundaries. Enjoy the cuteness, cats are so fun and you are so lucky to have a dog that gets along with it in the mix! Adorable!!
