Picky wife complains that husband bought her the wrong brand of car: 'For the money he spent on that he could’ve bought what she asked for'

Those of us 'raised right' were probably all taught something similar when it comes to accepting gifts: you smile politely and thank whoever gave it to you, even if it's something you don't like. However, there are times in life when that isn't the most appropriate response. For something that should be a nice gesture—heck, it's even considered a love language—it can definitely be done with malicious intent. An unwanted present is not always so easy to leave in the back of a dark cupboard.

This is something that came to the forefront of an internet argument after a husband filmed his wife receiving the gift of a car. He gave her a Jeep Wagoner, but what she actually wanted was a Cadillac. She expressed her disappointment, and some people weren't sure if she should be doing that. It has to be said, if you are spending that much money you should make sure you're getting the right thing.
