'This is not my cat': Cute Compilation of Cats Who Were Not Invited but Showed up and Stole Our Hearts Anyway
Cats have this meowgical power, we don't know if you know about it. They can just… show up somewhere and get a home. Really, they can. Every cat person knows that cats adopt their humans, not the other way around. That is how cats domesticated themselves. They just… did. They decided that this outside world life, where they have to hunt for food and run away from predators, is too difficult for them, showed their faces in front of some humans and immediately, we started building pyramids of them.
And cats continue doing this to this day. That is why we have all of these "not my cat" stories - where people tell the internet about how a cat, one day, simply walked into their home and made it its own. It's not like we humans have a choice about it. We are merely honored by being chosen. It's the only correct reaction to have.

When this happens to you… you should take it as the honor that it is. You should take it as a sign from the heavens that you have been blessed. For a cat choosing you is not something to look down upon. You now have a cat, whether it's a constant resident or just a visitor, and that is a beautiful thing.

And this only proves it. The fact that this cat technically might belong to someone else or might live on the streets but it still chooses to visit you sometimes and has been doing so since kittenhood… that's beautiful.
