If there was ever a way to recreate the feeling of a first-time viewing of Return of the King, would you do it?

Any self-respecting LOTR lover would dive at the chance of that kind of happiness again. 4 and a half hours of non-stop battles, friendships forged, shields broken, marriages made, and heart-wrenching beauty is something we should all hold close to our chest. But the elation of seeing this stupendous movie for the first time–it's priceless.

Some would argue that the best day of their life was their wedding or the day their first child was born–but it is not this day–for the best day of all of our lives (though we didn't know it at the time), was in 2003 when we saw ROTK for the very first time on the big screen. That's right folks. Forget the scrapbooks of family gatherings, graduation days, and first steps, we want to see Éowyn stab the Witch King of Angmar, we want to see Frodo and Sam in orc armor, and we want to cry a little when everyone bows at the foot of the 4 Hobbits during Aragorn's coronation.
