'That kitty would come by everyday for food after': Tiny Kitten Invades Neighbor’s House, Claims a Chest, and Chooses Her New Favorite Human
Cats choose their humans, that is a well-known fact. But what some don't understand is the honor that such an act is. Some humans get chosen by their cats too young to appreciate it. Or they claim to "hate" cats, and it takes them a long time to realize that they have been honored. They don't understand what has been bestowed upon them. They don't understand the joy that has been let into their lives. But the rest of us do.
Those of us who have loved cats our whole lives but have not been chosen… we wait. We wait patiently, and sometimes impatiently, to be chosen by the cat distribution system. We wait and wait, and while we do, we watch, with much jealousy, the rest of the humans who get chosen. At least it comforts us to see those humans who appreciate it, like the one today. We live off of their happiness.

Being chosen like this is… one of the best things that you could pawssibly experience in your life. You could be so lucky. We wish we were so lucky. And the fact that the kitten kept returning every day for food… the cherry on top.
