Kids always have infinite time to play video games and adults always have infinite money to buy games. While this isn't entirely true from either perspective, the bottom line is, when you're a casual gamer over a 'certain age', the grass is always greener for the 15-year-old on summer break who's been prestiging the latest Call of Duty for the last 4 days… How do they already have all of these badges already? 

Well, when you only have a spare 15 minutes every evening between handling your nightly chores, making/eating dinner, and getting the kids to bed, gaming takes a backburner role in your life. Although it's your most treasured hobby and your most delightful pastime, gaming always seems to be the first thing on the chopping block when it comes to your list of to-do's. So when you turn on your mic and grab your controller for the first time in over a month, it's disheartening to log on to your favorite game and realize that you're actually terrible at playing video games–at least, the teenagers breathing heavily into their headsets seem to think so. 

So from one casual gamer to another, don't take it too personally when the kids online target your deepest darkest insecurities. Next time, you won't miss that super easy grenade toss to secure the win for your team. In 2 months, you can try your hand again at playing online to see if anyone's gotten worse at this game…
