Welcome back ladies and gentlemen of the internet. It's somehow so common to be expected to babysit for free. Blood is thicker than water, and I guess for some people that means you can expect your family members to take care of your children whenever you don't feel like it. The truth of the matter is that if the kids are yours, then you are the only one expected to take care of them, no one else.
This brings us to the Reddit thread. A woman has three children and no husband. After her busy and long weeks, she tends to drop them all off at her sister's house so she can babysit them while the mother goes out dancing and drinking. Understandable to want this lifestyle in the midst of being a full-time parent, but that's not always possible. She needs to learn that she can't always get what she wants.
