'I deny work from all of my managers': Employee with three different bosses keeps claiming he's swamped with tasks, ends up doing no work and collecting checks
Clearly, this company has a management issue, but this employee will be the last person to complain about it.
He has found himself in the unique situation of having three different bosses from three separate departments. These departments have very little crossover, which helps the employee immensely when he claims that he has been overwhelmed with tasks and responsibilities from other departments. This is how he has managed to avoid getting any work from all three of his supervisors. Instead, he sits at his desk doing online shopping and playing games while each of his bosses assumes he is busy with responsibilities from the other two departments.
It's a brilliant move, but let's be clear: it's definitely temporary. There will be a point when either a new supervisor steps in and puts the pieces of this puzzle together. In the meantime, however, we hope that this guy enjoys collecting his paychecks for doing less than the bare minimum.
