Why can't neighbors ever seem to mind their own business? Whether they're concerned about your lawn, your driveway, or the street you live on, they make sure to let you know that they have an issue with you.

Sometimes, they might not even have an issue with you. They might think they're running for the "Best Neighbor Award", making sure you get your mail if you didn't check your mailbox that day. Maybe, they even knock on your door with a sound that shares the likeness of the authorities to let you know they have your mail. At all hours of the night and day. Repeatedly. At that point, they're no longer doing you a service, but rather inconveniencing you while you're trying to get some shut-eye.

The bottom line: don't touch anyone's mail. That's not your job, that's the mailman's, and you could sign yourself up for some time if you mess with the wrong person. They might think you're trying to steal their mail. If it's not yours, don't touch it!     greeneyedpies 3d ago In california, landlords actually have to provide a locked mailbox for tenants. I don't know where you're located, but I think your best bet would just be telling the landlord what's going on and asking for a locked mailbox. If not, you can always switch to a PO box too
