'I purposely picked all the wrong answers': Student sabotages cheater by feeding him incorrect answers, switches to correct ones when he's not looking

Most high-achieving students have had to deal with slackers in the class. They might ask for your input on a writing assignment, only to try to get you to write the entire essay for them. They might mooch off of your study guide. They might contribute next to nothing on a group project and attempt to take all the credit. And of course, they might look over your shoulder during a class test.

Here, we have a student who understandably had enough of the slacker who sat next to him in class and repeatedly copied the Redditor's answers on assessments. One might not notice it the first time. One might have a sneaking suspicion that foul play might be going on the second time. However, by the third time, this student knew the slacker was a cheater.

Luckily, the original poster (OP) was far more clever than the cheater was. On the next exam, he purposely put in all the wrong answers, waited for the cheater to copy them all down and submit his test early, and then quickly change them to the right answers before the end of class. This was, of course, a risk, but OP had been keeping a mental log of the correct answers the entire time and managed to pull this off just in time. There was obviously a degree of shock on the part of the cheating student when the exams were returned and he got a literal zero. Meanwhile, OP got 100%. We hope he told the cheater to try studying the next time around.
