In today's world, people can fake a lot of things. There's fake news, fake pictures, and now, even fake pandas. When one Chinese zoo was left without pandas for their live panda exhibit, they decided to take matters into their own paws and try to paint dogs to pass as impawsters for the lazy bears, but the audience wasn't as gullible as they thought. What gave it away? Not the fact that they don't look like panda bears at all, but the fact that they started panting inside the exhibit.
What's even crazier is that this isn't even the first time that a Chinese zoo has attempted this beary ridiculous doggo deception. A zoo in a different province a few months earlier did the exact same thing and, again, got caught. We not only found a video summarizing the whole thing, but we also collected some hilarious animal tweets about the silly scandal as well. You can thank us later!

This doesn't even look remotely like a panda. Like, at all. They must have been really desperate to try to pull this off, but then again, we do have to give them some points for trying. A for effort, we suppose?
It most certainly is not a panda! As self-proclaimed doggo experts, we could tell that that's a dog from a mile away. Notice the signature blue tongue, a trademark of the Chow Chow breed that is easily recognizable. We caught you!
