What's the 411, millennial ladies? If you were a teen or preteen while witnessing the transition from low rise, flared jeans with a whale tail to skin-tight skinny jeans, from having to purchase each song for $0.99 on iTunes to music streaming on Spotify, and from having to wait a whole week for a new episode of your favorite show to having them all drop at once once on Netflix, then you probably have a pic or two that look like the ones below.
Most of us millennials are still at that age where we look upon our goth, emo, preppy, or Tumblr phase with a bit of disdain and cringe as we recall how we were trying so hard to be something we weren't, but there was some beauty in our blunder years. Pics of girls decked out in zebra print, hair teased and straightened to the extreme, and sporting at least three layers of camisoles may evoke some second-hand embarrassment, but they represent a time of freedom, self-exploration, and nostalgia.
