The woman in this Reddit story is considering dropping her husband after he abandoned her during childbirth. At first, he was excited and enthusiastic about the idea of having a child. Toward her due date, he began distancing himself from any baby-related conversations, which struck the woman as odd. On the night of her labor, he panicked and told her he wouldn't be able to be in the delivery room with her. He said he'd wait outside, but that does not feel comfortable staying with her. The woman rightfully felt abandoned and vulnerable, and expressed that during that time, she felt it was the loneliest moment in her life. After heading to the recovery room, her husband is nowhere to be found.
