A lady's wedding is supposed to be about her and her forever love. The decor, the flowers, and the catering all have to be picture-perfect because what the bride says goes! All focus should be on celebrating the beginning of a beautiful life filled with love, compassion, and trust. Of course, not everybody understands that. Certain self-centered family members will always find a way to attempt to steal the attention away so it's focused on them instead. With that being said, a bride should never feel like they need to compromise their special day so they can cater to the selfish needs of other entitled family members.
The woman in this Reddit story was approached by her cousin, who asked if she could use the upcoming wedding reception as a gender reveal for her second baby on the way. Excuse me, but I didn't think this type of audacity existed! The woman's cousin went so far as to request a balloon release/confetti pop for the gender reveal. The bride says NO, rightfully so, but now her family is divided. All of the woman's friends are on her side, and can't believe this is an issue in the first place.
