Entitled parents demand 16-year-old kid cooks dinner for the family almost every night, he poses an ultimatum in response: ‘No cooking until my siblings take on more chores'

Every household has its own way of dividing the housework among family members. Some parents view housework as an important lesson for their kids, so they make sure their kids are just as involved in house chores as they are, making it easier for the kids when they go off and live independently. Other parents don't mind if their kids do not take part in chores and allow them to learn their ways when they are older and live on their own, which they argue is also a way of preparing them for the real world.

Either way, the one thing that should always be enforced in every household, is an equal division of work between the kids. Either they all pitch in, or none of them are, parents cannot simply drop all their work on one kid and leave it be. 

That is what happened in this Reddit story, written by a kid tired of being the only one expected to do household work at home. Eventually, the kid decided to pose an ultimatum to his parents, which caused a big family dispute.
