Life really does seem to press the fast-forward button as you get older. Days blur into weeks, and months into years until it's nearly November and you're racking your brain trying to remember exactly what it is that you have been doing for the past eleven months. It can get scary, and what do we here at Memebase believe is the best response to fear? Why, looking at a selection of memes, of course. The existential horrors seem a lot less horror-y when they are pacified with or in funny internet pictures, and it is an easy and attention-consuming way of taking your mind off the calendar for a while. No doubt that so long as the clock keeps ticking, we will all still have an appetite for the silly ways we have of distracting ourselves from that. We've got to be grateful that we've got that dilemma figured out.
