Welcome back ladies and gentlemen of the internet. Living alone may not live up to what you thought it would be. Apartment complexes can still create that 'roommate feel' when your upstairs neighbor won't stop stomping and screaming all night. Or when your neighbor throws a party until the early hours of the morning, keeping you up all night while you should have been sleeping. But neighborhood drama is put in another category when your neighbor actually attempts to harm your pets. 

This Reddit thread is about just that. The original poster (OP) is a woman whose cat is indoor-outdoor. She roams around, and she's never known it to be a problem. She comes home one day to find her cat laying white as a ghost on her kitchen floor, and immediately brings her to the vet. It turns out the cat was poisoned…and she has all the evidence on camera.     That said, it's much safer for cats if they're kept indoors or kept to their own yards. I don't know how tall your fences are but there are devices (inward facing angled panels... not sure what they're called) that can prevent cats from jumping out of their own yards.

    I'd 100% keep that video and go after him for animal cruelty, trespassing, and even go after him to pay the vet bill. He sounds like a dangerous person and that should be documented.
