Not many girlies like to admit this, but I have to say I am not a romantic person. I love a romantic story and enjoy a good rom-com, but I do not consider myself as a romantic person, and I am sure my husband would support this statement. One proof of that is that I find it hard to believe in the magical love-at-first-sight type of relationships, so I am a lot more realistic about how relationships come to be.

There is absolutely no chance that every couple in the series met in Hogwarts and simply managed to stay together throughout their teenage years. Harry and Ginny, Ron and Hermione, even Lily and James… In what world do high school relationships last so long? The world is not that romantic.
This might be simply my bitter unpopular opinion, but I would have loved to see an adult version of Harry Potter in which some of the couples break up and go off to have adult relationships with other people.
