Warehouse employees receive patronizing 'thank you' bag for working busy shifts: 'I thought that was a treat bag for Kindergarten students'

If there is one commonality that most workers share, it's that they often feel like they're not fairly compensated for their work. It's a running joke at this point that most companies would rather make empty gestures than give their employees something useful, like a raise. Of all businesses, there is one in particular with a notorious reputation: for a long time now, Amazon has been considered a bad place to work.

It will come as no surprise to many that they have been leading the way when it comes to compensating their workers in a way that is guaranteed to cause maximum rage. An Amazon warehouse recently decided to 'thank' their employees with a miniature gift bag including things like a singular stick of gum. Naturally, the internet was far from impressed, although some were surprised that they had gone through with this supposed incentive at all. It's a miserable state of affairs.
