While in relationships, you always want to be on the same page as your partner, share similar values, and even have the same movie tastes. It may seem like petulant or superficial compatibility, but I think they're more important than people realize. I couldn't imagine having dinner with my boyfriend, and being disappointed when I realize he's vegan and we can't share anything. Or having a movie night and absolutely cringing about their movie suggestions. Those are just tastes, what about life values?
