Woman Insists Mother Free Babysit, Despite Mother Being Unavailable, Mother Forced to Babysit During Her Appointment Due to Daughter’s Negligence

Some people think that just because they are forgetful, everyone else should forgive them for acting irresponsibly. Forgetting things, even if it is by accident, should not be a valid excuse, and there is a point in your adult life when you simply can't use it to explain your way out of commitments you failed to attend.

It seems like the daughter in this Reddit story thought that her ignoring, or 'forgetting', her mother's wishes would simply be forgotten, but she could not have been more wrong. The daughter decided to ignore her mother telling her she couldn't babysit her kid and purposely failed to plan something while her mother was unavailable. This forced the mother to take the kid with her, but hopefully, the mother would learn not to let her daughter get away with stunts like these in the future.
