She expected that the original poster (OP) would have the so-called "decency" to keep bankrolling her and her new beau's lifestyle while they get on their feet. As OP makes clear in his recounting of the story, it is most certainly not his fault that his ex chose to cheat with an unemployed dude who couldn't possibly support her. She probably should have considered that before she went ahead and acted on her fantasies. Now, she's grasping at straws to get whatever money she can still get from this guy, even going so far as contacting his place of work as well as his extended family members.
