50 of the Best Introvert Memes of 2024 to Scroll Through While Cancelling New Year's Plans
Introverts, gather 'round. It's the end of 2024, a new year is ripening right in front of us, and it's customary to attend a New Year's Eve Party to honor this renewal. Looking back on this year, how many introverts can proudly say they bailed on more friends than in 2023? How many introverts slept instead of going to the bar? And how many introverts are ecstatic about those decisions to stay in? Yes, we thought so.
New Year's Eve, contrary to popular belief, is an introvert's holiday. First of all, it's in the midst of the winter months, bridging the end and beginning of the coldest season. Cold weather is a foolproof excuse not to leave your home, and everyone knows it. Secondly, it's not traditionally a family holiday, so your parents can't hassle you into tagging along for grandma's sake. Thirdly, it starts at essentially midnight, and if you work the next day, it's the perfect excuse to cut the night short, or not show up at all. So while you're scrolling these hilarious introvert memes, think back on your year of reclusiveness, and imagine another year of hiding under covers.
