We all have enough drama these days, and family drama can be the cherry on top of the already stressful demands of work or school. But when it involves a mother-brother duo getting in your hair and disapproving of everything you do, it can be both the cherry and the (cheez)cake.

The original poster's (OP) story sounds like a real pickle, and this quite toxic cocktail of nosiness and boundary-crossing has led OP, a 21-year-old woman to share her story on Reddit for advice.

OP's mother, who seems to be a real gossiper, shares too much information with the woman's little brother, and the 17-year-old is being (I'm watching my mouth here) way too overprotective. Criticizing her every move and commenting about her makeup, the way she's dressed, and her overall appearance. The problem gets a lot worse when she "dares" to go clubbing with friends. Then, the teenager turns to insults and slander.
