'He moved home': Outside Cat Decides It’s Done Living Like This, Moves Into Neighbor's Home and Never Leaves, Giving Them No Choice but to Adopt Him

It is a known fact at this point that cats choose when to be adopted by us and not the other way around. A cat will decide that it's done with outdoor life and find a home. Just like that. And it will be spoiled and loved until the end of its days. It just needs to make that choice. And cats do that all the time. Every day, we hear of another story of a cat adopting a human. Every day, it's another story of a cat showing up on someone's doorstep, deciding that it's time to be adopted, and exactly that happens. 

And that's pretty much what happened here too. Sort of. Because when this outside cat decided to be an indoor one, it did not go to the family that it already had. It chose to be adopted by the neighbors, and neither his previous owners nor his new ones argued.

    There are so many things here, we have to say. But we'll talk about just one. We are glad that this outside kitty who was clearly done with being an outside kitty has found her home - a home where she was accepted and loved instantly.

    And okay, we so also have to say something about the doggos in back. They can be grumpy all they want to be about having to share their human's attention with someone else, but we give it a week - maybe less - for them to turn that frown and confusion completely around and fall in love with their new sibling.

    Practical-Call-3727 OP 5d ago Isn't he lovely?? The neighbors have been great about it! They tried to invite him into their house but he wouldn't go in. I'm very close with them and send them photos of him all the time. They are happy he's happy! They will even buy me wet food to give him. He is a very loved Clyde 1.3K > Reply
