Welcome back ladies and gentlemen of the internet. It seems like blended families are more common these days than traditional ones. Parents getting divorced, kids moving around from dad to mom, and mom to dad and back again. Living with stepsiblings and stepparents, it can be more than what any kid signed up for. I don't know about you, but I would be resentful if my parents got a divorce and made me live with stepsiblings. But I digress…

In this Reddit thread, it's not just about a blended family. In this family, the father insists that his daughter and stepson share a room. Keep in mind their ages: the daughter is 10 and the son is 11. It's at an age where sure, they're pretty young. But in a year or two things will start to feel very uncomfortable as they start developing and going through puberty. The mother puts her foot down, but not without a fight.
