Giving birth is an incredibly personal experience. You're using your body in ways you never have before, and things can easily go wrong. Not to mention, it's the first time you truly get to meet your baby, so you're probably going to be protective over who gets to be there. However, for some people, their birth is something they want to immortalize forever with pictures and videos. Especially if they're an influencer type, and want to use the event to boost their content. Whatever you think about this practice, you can't deny that it's something some parents want. 

But most people aren't influencers, and would rather keep their birth between the people that matter most. The subject of this post was one of the majority, but her dad's girlfriend wasn't, which resulted in a pretty awkward gift exchange at Christmas.
