Kind Backpacker Adopts Baby Shiba Puppy While Traveling Around Japan for 250 Days, Carrying Her in a Homemade Pouch and Finding His Furry Soulmate (Video)

Congratulations on making it to the halfway point in the week, animal fam. Your reward is this pawdorable video that will have you aww-ing for the whole rest of the day. We know it doesn't sound like much, but once you see this teeny tiny shiba inu puppy, you'll understand how great of a gift this is.

A kind backpacker has been documenting his trip around Japan, which has spanned for more than 200 days already. Around day 250, he was walking through the streets when he saw a sign that said "Shiba inu puppies were just born". He went in to see the perfectly precious puppies and immediately fell in love with one of them. After learning that they were going to be auctioned off around Christmas, he decided to take one with him. Her same is San-chan.

He carries her with him in a homemade pouch, and the two are off exploring Japan together in literally the cutest way pawssible. Scroll down to see heartwarming adoption story below and enjoy all of her floofy fluffiness!

Oh. Em. Gee! This puppy is more fluff than doggo and we are obsessed. We love all puppies, but shiba inu puppies might be the cutest out of all of them. His bag must be heavy as he is traveling around Japan on foot with all of his belongings, but he looks happy enough to carry around this little floofy pupper. We certainly would be!

What kind of luck must you have to be wandering around Japan, and on your 250th day, you get to meet an adorable litter of shiba inu puppies? Why doesn't this ever happen to us? We never get to meet puppies while we're traveling.
