It's been snowing here for the past few days in chicago and a lot of snow fell, almost 12 inches in 2 days in my area. I was plowing my driveway 2 days ago and decided to plow the neighbors driveway next door and the neighbor across the

The neighbor across the street saw me plowing so they came over after work and thanked me but I didn't hear from the neighbor next door. Over night another 6 inches fell so I plowed my driveway but none of the neighbors because I had to go to work. I look at my Facebook and see that my

thank me but instead chose to write a h√ message about me on Facebook. Her driveway is very long and it took me almost triple the time to do hers compared to mine. I would have plowed it when i got home but not after her writing that post which half my neighbors saw. How can people be so and inconsiderate? Now I regret

even plowing her driveway in the first place. Since then another 3 inches fell and her driveway has around 9 inches of unplowed snow which will turn into ice tomorrow. She's asked other neighbors

MNJayW 9 hr. ago I was out shoveling today and a neighbor I haven't met yet came down the street and blew what was left in my driveway. He had just gotten a new battery operated blower and wanted to see how well the battery would hold up. He was giggling the entire time. Told my wife about it and she said to check the price on one. Found the same one on a smoking deal, $600 off, it'll be here Friday. Thanks Alex.

Zoreb1 10 hr. ago I would have replied to her post that I plowed the first day (as she stated) but not the next day as I had to go to work and as a result of her hateful comment I'll never plow her driveway again. She'll probably block and delete but your message would get across.

Grouchy-Ad4338 · 9 hr. ago Wow. What a level of entitlement? Why would she even think for a second that she received a favor from a kind hearted neighbor who went out of his way for her. And then she had the audacity to post about negatively? Wonder what planet did she come from. OP, my friend, be careful as she may have you booked for stealing all her snow the first day. All 12 inches of it....

Koolest Kat 11 hr. ago No good deed goes unpunished. My neighbor plowed our sidewalks last year using his 4-wheeler with a blade. I offered a hot toddie, wife started baking cookies to drop off. Sure he enjoys using the new toy but bribery will get you all the way!!

LibraryMouse4321 · 10 hr. ago My mom was away during a big snowstorm so I asked her neighbor if their sons would shovel for money. Instead, all the neighbors did the shoveling while all the kids played in the snow, and wouldn't accept money. So baked them all cookies.

latents 10 hr. ago my neighbor next door posted that I plowed her driveway the first day and not the second day. She wrote "he plowed my driveway yesterday but not today Smh", some people be super lazy". I wish someone had responded "He did his turn. Now it's your turn to plow all the driveways and tomorrow someone else can have a turn."

As someone who expects to grow older every year and in time to become less and less independently capable, thank you for being kind to your neighbors regardless of their lack of appreciation. (Note to self: do not retire in Chicago. There's too much snow.)

. SuperSassyPantz · 1 day ago my nice neighbor has a snow plow and will often do my sidewalk and driveway for me, and i send him an amz card whenever he does. one time i think they'd been away for the week, so i shoveled his sidewalk and a small path to his mailbox. the neighbor on my other side is also in his 60s, but he constantly parks 2 tires on my lawn instead of his driveway, so fk him. i think he kept looking out the window hoping i'd do his next.

88mistymage88 - 1 day ago My husband loves to get his S10 (or whatever kind of small truck it is) out to plow. He and his BFF plow our driveways, our son's driveway, the scrapper guy's driveway, old people in our neighborhood, some of my siblings' driveways (some pay) and his BFF's neighbor's huge driveway (she was like "I love that you plowed but why not do it tomorrow (today)?" Because it's a small truck, the 1' of snow was fun.... the additional 6 or more inches plus the - F weather that happ

My hubby was laughing at seeing posts all 3 days of this snowpocalypse of people asking about getting plowed at 4 or 5pm.... it's dark at 5pm. My oldest used his snow blower and went all around his block's sidewalks. Just because he has a snow blower and didn't have to use it for his driveway since Dad did it LOL.

mcds99 1 day ago A radio personality complained about the city plowing on the radio, he did it several times, on several days. He got home one day his driveway had 6 yards of snow on it. I'm not saying anyone should do that.

. your_mail_man · 20 hr. ago A similar thing hapened to me some years ago. The neighbors across the street had 3 houses along a long, gravel driveway. The wind would blow it shut so when I came to the bottom of my driveway, I wiould go straight across and make a pass to open it to all 3 houses. For clarity, the were all related to each other. I did this for 5 or 6 years, even though no one ever came over to say thank you.

As my kids got older, we were selling Scout popcorn and we knocked on the door of the first house. I introduced us as the neighbors across the road, my son said he was selling popcorn and the homeowner went off on us like we stole something. I don't expect anyone to buy anything from us, but my son had to make the effort, but his reaction was beyond r[
