Bath and Body Works Classics

Were you a cucumber melon or a warm vanilla sugar kind of girl? When it came to Bath and Body Works products, there were two camps a 90s girl could choose from. Personally, I was a vanilla type of kid, but found myself butting heads (and crossing body glitter with) my best friend, who opted for cucumber. Alas, we never did work out our differences in the fragrance department.

Scholastic Book Fair Catalog

With $10 in your pocket, you were a queen at the Scholastic book fair. No time capsule would be complete without massive collections of Goosebump books or Nancy Drew's, because geeky girls of the 90s couldn't resist a book saga with at least 100 volumes and a few enticingly strange mysteries to solve.

A ‘90s Kid's Time Capsule of 21 Geeky Girl Trinkets That'll Make You Feel 30 Years Younger
How many of your friends in the 90s had that plastic inflatable furniture? Whether these girls realized it or not, they were reaching the ultimate, most 1990s level of epicness when they inflated those purple leopard print love seats that came with a footrest. Once you had that bad boy set up in your room, you were the sleepover queen.
Now, I didn't have a lot of the gimmicky, trendy girlhood trinkets from the 90s–my parents weren't the type to buy me anything except soccer cleats and light-up Razor scooters–but I can appreciate a Lisa Frank notebook when I see one. Dazzled by rainbow colors and hypnotizing 90s kids into squealing with glee, no era can top the nostalgia of the 90s, especially for girls who grew up a little weird. So for my 90s geeky gals, keep scrolling onward for a collection of trinkets so delightfully memorable that you'll go reaching for your night serum after realizing they're over 30 years old.
