We're told that if we get the degree and walk across the stage that all of our money-making dreams will come true. 15-year-old child star YouTuber is boasting his million dollar mansion while the rest of us are still trying to figure out how to say, “No” to our bosses for the first time. Something feels backwards…
But again, that's just my jealousy talking. Burnout exists in many different situations, and no 15-year-old should be working day and night when what they really should be doing is being a kid. To that 15-year-old YouTuber: You have the rest of your life to be a working person. Go learn Geometry like the rest of us!

The Mexican food spot near your office has half-priced margaritas during happy hour, it's Friday, and you have the rest of the weekend to recharge and reset until you are subjected to another five days of cubicle rotting. This vicious cycle is what you make of it, so don't feel hopeless just yet.
If there's another thing to look forward to, it's almost tax season. For the folks expecting a hefty return this year, don't spend it all in one place. If you save enough, you'll finally be able to cash in the 1 million hours of PTO you've been hoarding since your return to office mandate. Life might feel a bit cyclical and the burnout is definitely real, but there's nothing like a Friday evening margarita/taco pairing to ease all your troubles.
