Legend has it, that Serena is still on her way to where she had “to go."
Seriously though. Why do the characters have such extravagant breakfasts filled with every pastry, meat, cheese, and juice you can think of they touch none of it? The answer: the food is most likely a prop. But wouldn't it be so much more realistic if the characters actually ate something once in a while? I guess that might speak to the fact that these types of breakfast and dinner spreads are normal to them. Though insane, this speaks to how rich and entitled the characters are on the show.
We all know, though, that Serena will always nibble on some berries and Blair would eat up her dad's Thanksgiving pie like no tomorrow. At least we get some realism.

20+ Gossip Girl Memes That Give Big Blair Waldorf Energy
There hasn't been a television show quite as monumental as Gossip Girl (2007). Even with the reboot that came out a few years ago, nothing can compare to the rush ladies all over the world felt when they saw Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, and the rest of the crew on their television screens.
Aside from the fact that the show gives off ultimate early 2000s nostalgia, rewatching the show is like stepping into a different world. I know, I know. It basically is. The ultra-rich socialites on the Upper East Side live a completely different lifestyle than what most of us do, but I think that's why it's so infatuating. For a few hours, you feel like an insider to the richest, hottest, messiest friend group that television history has seen to date. It's almost like you're in on the joke with them, which is comforting and terrifying at the same time. In reality, nobody would last one week in the shoes of any of their characters, but that's the allure of shows that focus on the drama and cattiness of it all.
I've probably rewatched the series at least three times, and I think that's routine for anyone who has seen Gossip Girl. Whether you're a Chair shipper or a Dair shipper, you'll find a place here with these memes. Xoxo.
