As much as young women love to dream and fantasize about their wedding day, and how perfect it is going to be, we all know that dreaming about it is way easier than actually making it happen.

Planning a wedding is one of the hardest events a person has to plan in their lifetime, especially since the expectations are so high. It is a day that has to be perfect, and just right, and simply nothing is allowed to go wrong.

Which means, obviously, that something most definitely will go wrong.

Most of the time, that something is unexpected and uncontrolled, like bad weather or a family member's flight delay. It is unfortunate, but there really wasn't anything you could do about it. However, on some occasions, that thing that went wrong could have certainly been avoided, and that just puts more of a damper on the happy couple's magical day. When choosing your vendors, for example, you are facing choices that could very much lead to a potential crisis but could also very easily be avoided. All you have to do is not ignore the red flags, and choose a vendor accordingly, unlike the bride in the story down below…

  • The caterer at a wedding is possibly the most important vendor the happy couple has to choose, mainly because it is the one thing guests care about the most, and talk about the most after the wedding. 

    As a wedding veteran myself, and a vegetarian, all people care to compliment me about my wedding is the food. So guests must leave your venue content and on a full stomach. It was also important to me that I would actually have something to eat at my own wedding, so I made sure a vegetarian option, and a good one, would be given to me on my wedding day.

    No one should settle on these kinds of things on their wedding day, it's a shame the bride here was forced to.

    OP don't be scared of vendors just know that if something happens YOU CAN WALK AWAY. There are a lot of things to be afraid of - a wedding vendor isn't one of them.
