Sigh. Another tax season is among us…

For pawrents who are child-free (hooman-wise,) tax season might feel like a bit of a robbery. We provide for our fur babies year-round, and yet, we receive absolutely no tax breaks from spending an arm and a leg on Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract Litter and a weekly scrumptious bone for our canines. That's the price of puppy (and kitty) love, and we know we'd purchase all the goods for our purrfectly purrecious pets regardless—but it still stinks! If only we could claim our babies on our taxes… we'd cash out big time and head straight to Pet Smart to treat our animals even more. We can only hope that one day, the government will see that pets are expensive… But for now, we can dream about a tax return with Fido's name listed under your dependents.
