Sometimes, the employees who are treated with the most disrespect are the ones who have worked the longest at the company. It's not that "company men" deserve that much more special treatment, but they should, at the very least, be offered a level of transparency, especially when it comes to their own future at the organization.

One would think that someone who has offered that much time and energy to a business's success deserves to be nurtured in their work environment. Unfortunately for this guy, he was not only transferred to another department without much warning or explanation but he was also expected to help out his new replacement.
