You would think that the protagonist would want to see her own sister happy. Sure, they have different lifestyles, and chose different paths, and even grew up fighting. But it's still family, it's still your sister. I would do whatever I could to help my sister, and not make her feel like she's all alone in the world.

I think the protagonist is being cruel and unfair. So many of these Reddit stories consist of people having unreasonable expectations for family members under the guise of, “family helps family.” But in this specific case, I think the saying is true. Will it really harm the protagonist to babysit a bit?
