We're all familiar with the infamous situationship: the situation that isn't quite a relationship, but it's something more than nothing. You flirt, you talk a bit, you text, and you meet up. But at least one of you has no idea where it's going. You may never really know, or never really get closure. This new phenomenon is so interesting to me; how did society get to this point in dating? Is it because of dating apps and technology? Do they just make it too easy to put decisions on hold, and never fully commit? Is there anyone who has the upper hand in dating culture these days?

I feel like in the past, women had more power in dating. They could be pursued, and just reject men all they want. These days, the culture has really flipped. It feels like men have the upper hand, that they're the ones doing the rejecting. They can scroll through multiple girls and feel the dopamine rush of matches, flirty beginning texts, and then throw women away when they get what they want. I've seen too much of it, so instead of scrolling through your messages together, scroll through these hilarious and relatable memes.
