Coworkers are supposed to have one another's backs, but only to a certain extent. Of course, employees should help one another out if they need help fulfilling tasks and responsibilities, within reason. Additionally, since you're bound to see each other day in and day out, there will be instances in which you can support one another outside of one's work responsibilities. However, things can get tricky when it comes to money…

Obviously, coworkers often grab coffee or lunch for one another. Sometimes, there is no need to pay one another back, but depending on the sizr of the purchase, sometimes, there is that expectation. Here, we have a nurse whose distant childhood connection with a coworker meant she was easily manipulated into lending her far too much money…
