Different-Horror-581 Or... go get an interview.
  • 12
Odd-Panic-402 OP Yes offcourse, but i wont be able to get that in a day. But i I can tell him i did find something offcourse
  • 13
DuskRaider53 Good on you! Don't let an employer treat you like garbage then try and exploit you later when it fits their needs. Definitely time for a new job.
  • 14
Odd-Panic-402 OP Yeah its a sh situation but at the same time im happy that i know this before i got stuck there with a full contract and people relying on me.
  • 15
shmashmorshman You should file for unemployment. Cutting your hours qualifies as something called constructive dismissal and you should qualify for unemployment.

Odd-Panic-402 OP Im in sweden at the moment and to do that i whould have to work for a minimum of 6 months, is what i have read online at least. And i have not done that yet
  • 17
Canadianretordedape He cut my hours I can't make rent. Get offered emergency shifts, doesn't want to work them. Look it's a sh situation. You can either complain and miss rent or work all the hours you can get while looking for a new job and pay rent. Time to adult.

Odd-Panic-402 OP Its not like he is calling me for a full days shift, he is calling me to come over for like 2/4 hours. And i have to pay for public transport too, yea i get that
  • 19
back at the end of the month but i dont see it being worth my time when i can also spend that time looking for a new job and going by other companies.

jakboy02891 So, now you're a consultant... they get paid far more than regular employees. Send him a bill for your time.
  • 21
steppedinhairball That can be considered a dismissal. Anyway, a good response would be a long the lines of "I'm sorry, but I'm spending all my time looking for a new job. so I can pay my rent as all my hours were cut."

Ok_Needleworker_9537 Yep you are doing it right. I'd block him too.
  • 23
basicwhitelich Don't work outside your schedule. Dude played you and now you're in a pool of employees that are 24/7 on call to fill in but never on the schedule.
