"I may have been chosen but my boys are not impressed"

"Found this decaying guy outside, he has thumbs and he's a delight"
-

"Honestly, this big boy is just a patate, he loves everyone. He was looking super decrepit before I brought him in. I asked the vet to test him for FIV, and it was positive. Guess who's never going back out in the wild to a stressful life? His name is Billy and he's really round. He has a tortie sister named Beeps— and she's not pleased to not be the only child anymore—but she tolerates him!"

"He's pretty banged up - I'm unsure of the next steps as I've never trapped a cat. I think he would make a wonderful pet. Open to any advice from ppl who have trapped feral strays."

"Maybe this is how Cat distribution works? Haha. Ashtro the white cat chose us!"
-
24
"We named him Ashtro! He suddenly showed up on February 21 but went missing when we were about to feed him. Then, on February 23, we saw him again in the area. We decided to take him because he was struggling with a cough and cold. It kinda feels like he chose us—maybe because he felt safe with us.
We isolated him for now since we don't know where he came from and of course, for the safety of our other rescues too.
February 26, we were finally able to bring him to the vet with the help of our donors. Ashtro had a CBC and virus test (FCoV & FHV)—thankfully, he tested negative! However, his CBC results showed an infection, which explains his cough and cold. He also had a lot of fleas, so he got Broadline for ticks and fleas. He started his meds, and his follow-up check-up is on March 5."
