‘He hasn't talked to me in days’: Man refuses to talk to his new wife after she jokes about him taking too long to propose during their vows, she considers getting a divorce

Call me new-fashioned, but I actually like it when the bride and the groom put a personal touch in their wedding vows, and make it interesting for the people in the audience.

I don't want to hear couples talking about loving each other in sickness and in health, and I don't want to listen to cheesy vows neither of them is going to keep. I want inside jokes, I want tea, and I want to have tears streaming down my face from both laughing and getting emotional. Then and only then, do I approve the wedding vows.

In all seriousness, for many couples, the vows are the highlight of their weddings. It is the moment everything comes together, where they get to express themselves in front of all their loved ones, and tell their most loved one exactly what they are feeling. It's a beautiful moment and it should feel that way for everyone involved.

Unfortunately for the bride and groom in the story below, the vows actually marked the beginning of the end.

The bride came up with a funny way to joke about how it took her groom 7 years to propose to her, so she decided to include that in her vows. While the audience thought it was hilarious, the groom was not amused by the suttle joke.
