Kiosk merchant gives customer unjustified strife, customer gets him fined over $1,500: ‘Then I smiled… and left."

Sometimes you have to give your local grumpy kiosk employee a little dose of reality. Obviously, we all love our local deli, bodega, kiosk, corner store employees. You definitely do not ever want to mess with them. But every now and then, you have to remind them that some of us are having just as a bad day as you—just as you yourself have to be reminded of such too! In this case, it was a shady kiosk merchant who was being weird about a customer's credit card. All the other employees there have been chill, but this guy was being totally weird. How so? He refused to allow the customer to tap/insert his credit card himself into the machine. The customer even said he didn't have to touch the machine at all, he just preferred if he did the actual transaction himself. 

 

Oh man, this grumpy kiosk worker did not like that. Started throwing a tantrum. Since this is in Portugal, they have very strict laws about local business' "complain books." So, this customer immediately requested the book…
