Kitten who is scared of all humans and animals gets adopted and falls in love with her big doggo sibling: 'She found her perfect home'

Cats are a lot like us in some ways when you think about it. Cats love naps, just like we do. Cats go crazy over food sometimes, just like we do when we're back from a long day and the food we ordered comes five minutes early. Cats scream at closed doors sometimes, the same way that we did when we got locked out on the balcony that one day last May. And cats choose their friends carefully, based on important qualities, the same way that we should, even though we don't always do that. 

Some may call cats aloof and unaffectionate because of that, but those people don't understand. Cats are just picky about their company. In humans, we usually say that is a good thing. It's the same for cats. They take their time choosing, but once they choose the person or animal that they love, they will never let go of them. They will be bonded forever, and we can just tell that is exactly what is going to happen with this cat and dog pairing.

  • We don't know if we have ever seen a cat love on a dog this hard before. This is some intense cuddling. Clearly, this dog is being marked. It's her dog now, and she is doing her utmost to make sure that literally everyone knows about it.

  • Are we not all like that at the end of the day? Social butterflies when we feel like it, introverted felines when we don't. We understand her. She just likes showing off her purrsonality to the creatures that she likes and chooses. That's fair.
