‘It took a week before he could use his phone again’: Guy gets payback (and a refund) from a shady car salesman by spamming his phone with 10,000+ text messages after getting sold a lemon

Shakespeare had a way with words—but for many of us who enjoy a good YA novel over a literary mouthful, we'd argue that Shakespeare had TOO MANY words. And for the sketchy car dealership salesman who was profiting from ill-fated swindles, he certainly contested that Shakespearean literature was far too wordy for him… Especially after receiving 10,000 texts containing transcripts of his plays after ripping off a disgruntled customer. 

Perhaps it was fate that brings us here today or the pursuit of a nobler revenge story. Simply put, this customer had accidentally purchased a lemon vehicle, condemned yet cleverly disguised as a good buy. But when his mechanic noticed a tiny detail he missed at the dealership, all was lost. Or was it?

  • Back in high school, I actually really liked Shakespeare. But now that my free time is limited and my literary tastes have changed, I simply don't have the time or bandwidth to read a long-winded archaic piece of literature.   • Jaded-Permission If I had been in your situation, I'd have copied and pasted Shakespeare's Hamlet in the original Klingon. It might not have been as long as sending the entirety of Shakespeare's work, but it would've been much more satisfying to think of him having a meltdown while trying to run THAT through Google Translate.
