We all need to be loved, but unfortunately it doesn’t always work equally. Even though every parent should love their children equally, they’re still human, and sometimes they do have a favorite. And it works the same for children.

Neglectful parent's favoritism leads them to miss their 27-year-old daughter’s wedding for golden child son’s baseball game instead, the whole family shames them after finding out: “They never even responded to the wedding invitation”
No one likes to feel like the black sheep in the family. Most of us don't love or like our parents equally. For some of my friends, their mom is their best friend. They go on trips together, they shop together, and they can talk about everything. It doesn't mean they don't love their father, it's just a different relationship. And for some, they don't necessarily get along with their mother, and are much closer to their father.
In the story below, the protagonist is a woman who's definitely not the favorite child. Her younger brother is the golden child, and as soon as he was born she felt like she was invisible. To her dismay, they didn't even care as she got older and decided to get married to the love of her life. She invited them to the wedding, but they didn't care and just made up an excuse not to go. When she got back from her honeymoon, she was greeted with some intense reactions from her family, but you'll have to read the full story below to find out.
