Parents forbid grandma from babysitting after she decides to cut their 6-year-old daughter's hair without permission, grandma stands by her actions: ‘It will grow back’
Giving kids haircuts is a big deal, even though it shouldn't be. Hair holds so many memories, and it is such a big part of our appearance, that of course it matters to us. But it also always grows back, usually quickly, especially when it comes to kids. And yet, kids have a range of responses to getting a haircut, and the are all pretty dramatic, if you ask me.
There are kids who don't care one bit about their hair, and have no problem cutting it, and will even prove it by giving themselves a haircut with the scissors they found in a kitchen drawer. Those kids tend to cause their parents to have an emotional reaction when they see the trail of hair their kid left after giving themselves the latest fashionable makeover. Then, there are the kids who would not let anyone with scissors near their hair, and will force their parents to grow their hair to a length that can only be described as 'Rapunzel appropriate', until their parents manage to bribe them just enough to convince them to cut some of it off.
