  • "Cause an accident because you’re too special to wait in line? That’s cool, I’ll be a witness for the other driver’s insurance."

I have to make a left turn at an intersection where the line to make that turn backs up at least half-mile every work day. It's about a 15 minute wait when it's bad, and about 10 minutes in normal traffic. A lot of
  • people skip that line and cut off drivers who wait patiently to turn. It gets hazardous when those same idiots literally force. their way into the turn lane, regardless of another vehicle already existing in that space. Early last
  • week, some literally just shouldered my car out of the way. They saw me. They heard my horn. They kept merging. I avoided that accident and carried along with my day - although I was incredibly irritated.
  • Three days later, some tries the same thing on the truck behind me. A woman in a mid- size sedan decided that she was getting in the left turn lane come h I or high water. Unfortunately for her, the lane she was
  • merging into was already occupied by a full-size pickup. She probably would have realized that if she had looked where she was going, but she didn't. She hit the truck, of course. It damaged her car, of course. Nothing
  • major, just knocked her mirror off. I watched the whole thing because that truck was directly behind me. Her head never turned, she was looking straight ahead as she collided with that truck.
  • Something about her body language (and the fact that she pulled her phone out to record the truck after the accident she caused) told me she was a Karen. I just knew she was going to lie her a off to avoid fault.
  • Now, my tiny bit of petty revenge. I gave the truck driver my cell number, told. him I saw it all, and offered to share my observations with the cops or insurance company. This was not the same car that almost hit me earlier in the week, but
  • it was the same entitled bulls attitude. The truck driver's insurance called me the next day and I told them exactly what I saw. It was enough information to exonerate the truck driver and put fault on the in the sedan. I
  • don't know what happened after that call, and I really don't care. I got my petty revenge against one of those drivers.

  • CoderJoe1 Stupid people act that way and when it works they feel superior for figuring out how to hack the system. When it doesn't work, they cry that it's not their fault the other person didn't let them get away with it.
  • hywaytohell I had someone do the same for me when a woman backed into me in a parking lot. For some reason she was trying to back into a spot from spaces on the other side of the lane. I had stopped to let someone walk in front of me and she hit me on my driver door. She got out yelling like I did something wrong, the lady who saw it told me she never looked back, and gave me her info as a witness. Even with that the insurance company tried to say they couldn't get in touch with her and was goin
  • intersection. Just after the East-West traffic has a green light and the Jeep in front of me pulls out quickly I notice a red F-150 speeding south toward the intersection and is not slowing down. I stopped! I then had front row seat to the crash that happened. The red F-150 did not even slow down and hit the black Jeep broadside smack on the B and C pillars, tossing the Jeep onto the hood of an Xterra that was in the east bound left turn lane. As the Jeep was hit he was pushed into a sedan on hi
  • The woman driving the red F-150 was convinced that her direction of traffic had a green light with in fact the light for the North-South traffic had been red for over a minute. I got all of this on my dash cam and the police officer was quite pleased with not only my report at the scene but with the video I later sent him. I never did find out
  • what happened to the red F-150 driver. The Jeep driver was uninjured but his Jeep was just 6 months old so he was most unhappy. With having been hit broad side at 45 MPH I would bet the frame was bent and with the other damage my guess is that his new Jeep was probably totaled. This is why we all need a dash cam in our vehicles.
  • Ilkey2 Had a idiot try to pass me on the right in a one way roundabout. Took out the passenger from quarter panel and scraped all the down the side. Lady behind me saw it. She turned around and came back. Got her info and thanked her.
  • Guy in the car. You hit me I'm calling the cops etc. go right ahead! My insurance collected from his. I replaced my car. The kicker is this guy was a carpenter driving his bosses car!
  • Takssista The other day some lady in a BMW tried the same with the car in front of me. As the car didn't gave her way, she started to honk her horn and waving her arms frantically, and then she looked at me - I looked her in the eyes with my best facepan expression while I kept driving in front of her and glued myself to the car in the front. Unfortunately the old lady behind me let her in, but still was satisfying af.
  • Prairie_Crab Good job! I've done that twice! The last one was a well- dressed older lady who turned in front of a crappy car and hit it. I was behind the crappy car, so I waited for the police to arrive. The driver of the crap car looked just as bad-long scraggly hair and dirty clothes — so the - police were certain it was his fault. I told them what I saw, and they asked me three times: "Are you SURE she hit HIM?"
