16-year-old boy defends younger sister against uncle's unrelenting teasing, mom bans him from the family vacation: “This is about you being mean to your niece because her dad isn't home”

When I was a 14-year-old girl, I was really into the band Placebo. They're a British alternative rock band that primarily perform songs about things that most 14-year-old girls have zero understanding of, but I was just in it for the vibes. Funnily enough, I came across them because of the mid-2000s Nickelodeon show Zooey101; a Placebo poster is featured in the main character's room in one episode. In restrospect, that was a really weird choice on set designer's part. I was so into the band at the time that I nicknamed certain foods after its members. I'm not sure exactly what the logic was, but pimento cheese sandwiches are forever known as Brian Molko sandwiches.

In our story today, a young teen girl's favorite musician is no other than Taylor Swift. This is pretty typical of her age, and she is certainly no stranger to haters. However, she never expected her biggest hater to be her own uncle. Thankfully, she has an older brother looking out for her. Scroll down for all the details.
